Retro Football Golf Ball Campaign

I created a nostalgic product launch for Callaway that aimed to connect our golf audience to their childhood era. My goal was to deliver a full gaming-inspired experience, one that made players feel like they were part of the game, similar to today’s NFL video games but with a retro twist. The golf ball design was inspired by a classic 1980s football video game and the passionate fanbase surrounding the NFL, blending sport, play, and nostalgia into a unique launch.

I brought nostalgia to this product launch by leveraging AI to create game-like scenes reminiscent of classic video games. To make the experience more interactive, I proposed recreating iconic 1980s NFL player trading cards and including them as a collectible gift inside the golf ball packaging. This added layer of storytelling connected the product to both gaming culture and sports fandom, deepening the overall impact of the launch.
